It has been some time since I last wrote a blog entry. I have just been incrediblyedibly busy doing stuff, doing nothing and combinations of the former in varying ratios.
What I can tell you on the creative front (and believe it or not, that is what this website is meant to be about) is that I am working on new songs. You can already listen to my latest track “Hard To Tell” on the music page. My aim is to create another album. After all it has been 5 years since my last.
Also I am very proud and privileged to be writing some songs and incidental music for The Randomers, an original comic / multimedia extravaganza written by Russell Payne and drawn by John Watson. I will be at the Bristol International Comic & Small Press Expo this year, where John will be signing his art while Russ and I make a general nuisance of ourselves. I will be tweeting from the convention so there has never been a better time to sign up to my twitter feed on the front page of this site.
Just been out for lunch. I had a MASSIVE sandwich. Massive sandwiches seem to be a regular part of my daily routine, which I suppose is a bad thing. But on the other hand they are MASSIVE sandwiches, which are by definition a good thing. For a change today I ditched the friendly, local sandwich shop I normally frequent and went to a familiar sandwich chain that shall go unnamed. Utterly disgusted with the exorbitant and confusing pricing structure I have decided to invoke a personal boycott on the chain from now on. Although I do feel pleasantly happy with all that pre-digested pappy goo inside me.
Odd surprise of the day – I decided to Google the words “sandwich” and “giant” to see if I could find a stock picture of a massive sandwich. This was just in case the term “massive sandwich” was not adequate to place in your minds the enormity of my lunch and I had to illustrate the point with a picture. What surprised me was not the results returned, but Google’s suggestion of what I was trying to search for.....

The mind continues to make a sound best described as a ‘boggling’ noise.
